End Time Prophecy Observations

Luke 21 beginning at v8, it is written, "And He said: "Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The time has drawn near.' Therefore do not go after them. v9) But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately." v10) Then He said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. v11) And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. v12) But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake. v13) But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. v14) Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; v15) for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. v16) You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. v17) And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. v18) But not a hair of your head shall be lost. v19) By your patience possess your souls. v20) "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. v21) Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. v22) For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. v23) But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. v24) And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. v25) "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; v26) men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. v27) Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. v28) Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." v29) Then He spoke to them a parable: "Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. v30) When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. v31) So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. v32) Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. v33) Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. v34) "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. v35) For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. v36) Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." 

The Signs of His Return

I know that may have seemed like a long way to begin this entry, but if you read the above carefully, there was no way it could have been broken down, taken apart or pieced out because it is packed with prophecy that needs to be addressed in it's entirety. There are so many things happening in this world as we speak that it's impossible to keep up with all of it and I believe God knew it would be too difficult for any one person to do so. He gave us His breathed words to help us understand, to look for and to look up when we began to see the signs drawing nearer. There are prophecies all through the Bible that have already been fulfilled. But, the ones we are seeing unfolding before us, are just beginnings of what's yet to come. We are experiencing the events mentioned about by Jesus right now!  Jesus told us to watch for specific signs leading up to his return. These signs are "birth pangs" (Matthew 24:6-7, Mark 13:7-8, and Luke 21:9-11). When these signs "begin" to happen, we know our redemption is near. While this redemption is ultimately speaking of Israel at the 2nd Coming of Jesus, the "birth pangs" have already begun. In other words, as the "birth pangs" increase in frequency and intensity, we know that the Church's redemption in the rapture is that much sooner.

As everyone knows by now, the Pope has resigned his post. A Pope's resignation hasn't taken place in over 600 years and is unheard of. But what many may not know is what happened on the very same day this was announced. The day the Pope resigned, lightning struck the Dome of Peter's Basilica! The picture is amazing as someone captured this moment in time! The picture on the left is the one circulating around the webosphere! The photographer had his camera trained on the building in Vatican City when the clouds seemed to part as a single bolt of lightning happened to strike the holy structure. Was this a sign from God? So it would appear. You be the judge.....Then on the 16th of February, there was an earthquake in Roma, Italy. For centuries, the Vatican has been plagued with one controversial issue after another, the abundance of alleged child molestation/sexual abuse cases taking front and center. Secrecy is abound as well and has surrounded the Vatican for centuries. Rome plays a huge role in the End Time prophecies and many things are coming from that area that eventually will be uncovered. Everything done in secret, everything hidden, will one day be brought to Light! God promised that to all of us! And as I've said before, anything done in secret, hidden from everyone, is WRONG or there would be no need to hide it. Do a little research on the Vatican and it's background and you will soon see a correlation between them and the end times. The pope is a revered man. But that's all he is....a man. However, he is put on a "throne" for all to "worship" and they even go as far as kissing his ring. This is what Jesus called "idol worship" and something He strongly forbid. The colors of the papacy, the gems, the blood of the martyrs and the inverted cross that is sometimes carried around unknowingly exposed to thousands of unsuspecting "followers" are all the makings of an evil empire. Rome fell before....There are many things wrong with the Pope's papacy and the Vatican's role in the world, but that will be a discussion for later days. In the meantime, do some research because it will be truly amazing to see how all of this unfolds.

Then, the meteorite in Russia killing nearly a thousand people! The meteor was also substantially more massive than thought as well. Initially estimations pegged the space rock's mass at, or near, about 7,000 tons. Scientists at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., now say the meteor weighed about 10,000 tons and was travelling 40,000 mph (64,373 km/h) when it exploded. In last couple of days alone, exploding fireballs were reported on all sides of the world – Russia, Kazakhstan, Japan, Australia, Cuba, South Africa, Morocco, Germany, Switzerland, northern Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, UK to include the Florida and California in the USA. These fireballs have been numerous since just the beginning of the year and it's only going to get worse. Let's couple the meteorites and fireballs with the massive amount of earthquakes, tsunami's and other nature related occurrences and we have a major prophetic cocktail of signs just in nature alone!  The rate of earthquakes has accelerated greatly in certain areas since 2009:   A new United States Geological Survey study has found that middle America between Alabama and Montana is experiencing an "unprecedented" and "almost certainly manmade" increase in earthquakes of 3.0 magnitude or greater. In 2011, there were 134 events of that size. That's six times more than were normally seen during the 20th century. While the changes in the area's seismicity began in 2001, the trend has really accelerated since 2009, the geologists note. Birth pangs? Yes!

Let's take a look at some of the signs of Our Lord and Savior's Return with Scriptural evidence and you be the judge:
1) False Bible teachers would be money hungry. They would be smooth talkers, have many followers, and slur the Christian faith by adding a mustard seed of lies which leavens the entire message (2 Peter 2:1-3)
2) Earthquakes would be in diverse places (Matthew 24:7)
3) Many wars would erupt (Matthew 24:6)
4) Men would substitute fantasy in place of Christian truth (2 Timothy 4:4). This is so evident at Christmas when the birth of the Savior is lost behind the myth of Santa Claus or when the our Risen Christ is lost behind the Easter Bunny at Easter!
5) The institution of marriage would be forsaken by many (1 Timothy 4:3)
6)  The possession of Jerusalem would be at the center of international turmoil (Zechariah 12:3)
7)  Jesus said Christians would be hated “for His name’s sake” (Matthew 24:9)
8) Youth would become rebellious. "For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy" (2 Timothy 3:2)
9) Men would mock the warning signs of the end of the age saying, “for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” (2 Peter 3:4). The Bible even reveals their motivation, they love lust (verse 3). However, they fail to understand that a day to the Lord is as a thousand years to us. God isn't subject to the time that He created. He can flip through time the same way we flick through pages in a book. The only reason He seems to be silent, is because He is patiently waiting, not willing that any perish, but that all come to repentance.
10) The Christian Gospel would be preached as a warning to all nations (Matthew 24:14)
11) There would be an increase of religious cults/false teachers (Matthew 24:11 & 24)
12) The fact that God once flooded the earth (the Noahic flood) would be denied (2 Peter 3:5-6). There is a massive amount of fossil evidence to prove this fact, yet it's completely ignored by the scientific world because of its uncanny implication.The TRUTH!

Now those are just some of the signs and when you add it to the opening scripture, well, the evidence is hard to dispute! The stage of the world is being set for the New World Order and the One World Government, for the One World Religion and for the Anti-Christ to appear. Satan wants his 15 minutes of fame but this too is part of God's plan to forever bind him and his minions of demons in Hell for eternity. To think that the entire world will be under one ruler is beyond anyone's imagination, but it isn't too big for God! In the Bible, you will find varied accounts of the power-hungry trying to conquer the planet and establish a new world order. It's those power-hungry people who are behind the scenes now, orchestrating all the players in the orchestra to be in perfect harmony for the biggest concert event to date....He is near! Today's global birth   pangs are on fast-track now. They will increase in intensity as this generation draws closer to the 'start' of  the final 7 Years. Once the 7 Year period itself begins, then today's birth pangs will turn into the 'perilous times' which the Apostle Paul talked about in 2 Tim. 3:1. Jesus Himself clarified this in stating that 'birth  pangs' will 'deliver' the final generation 'into  Tribulation'. Math.24:8-9. Although the 7 Year Tribulation     itself will be the most stressful period in history, it will  grow progressively worse from the very beginning to   its defined  destructive 'end' in the last 3 1/2 years. Dan.12: 6-7.


Then onto a Home of Harmony!
Just before His death, Jesus comforted His disciples with these words of promise: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:1–3).  The apostle Paul elaborated on Christ’s promise with this beautiful description: “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17). He goes on to say, “Wherefore comfort one another with these words” (v. 18).  Don’t these words bring real comfort to your heart—a thrill to your soul to think that Jesus is, at this very moment, preparing a beautiful home for you in a place where peace, love, harmony, and unity really exist? History shows that mankind cannot manufacture this kind of place. All of its best efforts have always ended in defeat and disappointment. It’s a proven point that all the greatest political, military, economic, and spiritual leaders have not yet and never will be successful in forging utopia.

With Jesus as your Savior, you will see the dawning of a new day, an entirely new order of things! “With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26). Knowing what lies ahead, that our future is secure in God’s hands, we can have a powerful sense of joy and peace right here and now. Even though we won’t see peace among the nations on this earth, we can still have peace in our hearts amidst the chaos that seems to be going on all around us everyday. Those who make contact with God in a personal way today, repenting of their sins, believing on Him and asking Jesus Christ into their hearts as their personal Savior, Heaven will begin right now. God becomes the Friend who never forsakes us; the Counselor with all the answers to every one of our questions, and the Partner in all our endeavors. He cleanses us from all sin, and when we ask, He also imparts the power we need to transform our sin-filled lives. That’s the kind of heaven we can live in right now while anxiously awaiting His return!
