Falling Apart or Falling Into Place?

John 14:1-4, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2) In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4) And where I go you know, and the way you know."

Proverbs 16:9,  "A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps."

Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

GRACE!

One evening, shortly after the USA presidential elections, I was laying on the couch completely numb from the recent days events, not just from the election but life in general. I already knew the "chaos" that would ensue around the votes as soon as the "mail-in" ballots were being pushed early Summer. When I heard the "media" calling the results before anything was certified or finished being counted, well, I knew things were a bit off and this was going to be a very bumpy ride. That's neither here nor there as this post isn't about the election. Or at least not directly, anyway. For just a moment, I kept repeating in my head, over and over, that things were "falling apart" very quickly and mistakenly thought I'd just found my next blog post to write about! Well, for those who have followed me and rode along with me on the journey, it doesn't always work out the way that I THINK....but either way, I went to my computer and landed the title very quickly. However, I struggled for the scriptures, I struggled for direction of how to tie my thoughts together and worse, I struggled with getting any kind of "inspiration" like I always get before, and during, my writing. I was completely stuck. I sat at the computer staring blankly at the page, the empty, blank page, void of anything worthy, wondering why I was sitting there at all. In my spirit, I knew the title was not my own and this was what I was to write about. I didn't doubt that for one moment. But why couldn't I type any thoughts? Why couldn't I get my thoughts together? What I originally began to write about to match the title didn't quite feel right and that's when I knew I shouldn't write at all until the Lord guides me because it became apparent by my very real struggle to write, to find scriptures and to direct my thoughts that it was my fleshly, uninspired idea and not a spiritual one. And so I kept the title, deleted my two sentences and saved to drafts for a later date when I was clearly inspired. The way this entire blog is based on. I shut down the computer and walked away feeling a little discouraged and somewhat defeated because I was so certain of being led to write what I thought I was supposed to, but the Holy Spirit clearly had other plans.

Another few weeks pass by and I'm in the middle of a text and all of the sudden, it hit me! Literally out of the blue! God spoke to my spirit then suddenly I knew the scriptures, I knew the subject and I knew the direction! There was nothing about the texts that even alluded to this post or the sudden burst of inspiration. It was just the avenue God used to catch my attention and catch my attention He did! Originally, I kept repeating over and over in my head that "things are falling apart" and truly they are all over the entire world! I know the USA is only focusing on us because of the election issues, (refraining from specific "terms" for the obvious reasons!) but it's much bigger than just my country and wider spread. The main stream media is not unbiased and is, and has been, spinning stories for their own agenda to help divide the nation, spitting out the "us vs them" mentality. It's very contentious. For those who believe everything you read or hear coming from the media, I would just implore you to do some digging and some serious research to find the truth in the midst of the enormous lies being perpetrated. Not just about the "issues" with our election, but with the "pandemic" and all of the "accompanying" "inoculation discoveries" that go along with the "virus." Many eyes are upon our election outcome because we are, and have been, a strong staple throughout many events and a strong presence to other countries in the world. We've been a wonderful friend to many countries. This doesn't make us better than everyone but we are a country of strength and power and the whole world is watching what is taking place. This current president has achieved more than many others before him but isn't that what's causing the split in parties during this election in the first place? Haven't they, the opposing party, spent billions of dollars trying to bring him down since he took office? Haven't they seen him as a "threat?" Haven't they divided this country like never before? I believe so. The whole world is "falling apart" but it appears the only news worthy of reporting on is the "pandemic" and the "inoculation" being pushed out without proper trials to rule out long term side effects. The media has the entire world focusing on three things: pandemic/virus with exaggerated numbers, the coming inoculations and the elections. Dig deep and you will find much more. You will find there's much more to all of it, from the funding of the inoculations, to world leader meetings to censorship of the truth or of anyone who dare speak in opposition to what is being peddled to the people of the world. But what about the rest of the news? What about the real "deaths" from real diseases? What about the unrest in other countries? What about the weather related tragedies happening all around the world causing homelessness, disease and hardship? What about the food shortages inching their way into neighborhoods near you? What about the tragedies of the "pandemic" outcomes on the people being isolated, losing jobs, losing lives, and the addictions that have crept up? Why aren't there other, more important cures for simpler diseases than a new virus, being found as rapidly as they made the inoculation for a virus that is too new to know anything about? Remember, the survival rate is still at 99%. The seasonal flu is about the same if not a little less. But things are falling apart all over the world....

It also feels like things are falling apart on a personal level as well and I know I'm not the only one that feels this way! These past few months, but the most recent weeks especially, have proven to be very difficult indeed. I'm still unemployed and my benefits have ended abruptly as our state stopped approximately 4,900 people's unemployment extensions with only a day's notice! I'm still trying to make ends meet. I still have some home repairs that needs fixed. I still have bills to pay to keep the roof over my head, electric and water on and the bare necessities met. My vehicle has too high of mileage to commute or I might have been able to find work in the next city over. My dad was admitted in the hospital. Some "friends," or who I thought were friends, drifted away. It's still just me with no other income than what I WAS getting on unemployment or when I worked before being laid off. I've missed church for a few months due to my insomnia and sleeping patterns being messed up, and although I catch it later streaming, it's not the same. I've prayed for this to change for me but it hasn't thus far! I flood myself with sermons and lessons though and I'm confident, if the rapture isn't SOON and doesn't happen before, I'll get a regular schedule and get back in the house of the Lord with like minded believers! My fur baby needs to go to the vet and I'm praying she's ok because with my family being 7 hours away and not much here in my city by way of emotional support, she's what's keeping me going in the emotional sense. Obviously, the Lord is my comfort and my peace and my provider, but on this earthly plain, she's it! Everything is piling up and everything seems like a battle or a struggle. For those who have followed along, I tend to have many, many battles, hardships and struggles. I don't even ask why anymore. I suppose it's just part of my journey and the path the Lord has made for me. There's alot of "us" out there that have these same burdens, some to a lesser degree, some to a greater degree. My heart breaks for all of them. There's plenty that are suffering in silence while others share their pain. In any event, suffering is no less suffering! Things really are falling apart all over the world. But is it?

It is here that I will say we must not put our hope or faith in any "man" because we are all broken. The only hope we have is found in Jesus Christ. The only place we need to put our faith upon is Jesus Christ. No "man" or "group of men" will, or CAN, save a country or the world. Let's look at just a few scriptures warning us against this very thing. Ephesians 5:6, "Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience." Also in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;" In Matthew 24:4-6, we're told, "And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6) And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." Sure we all want our leaders to be sound, truthful, honest leaders and we want to support them. But we shouldn't put too much into that support because God is in control of even them, whether they are believers or not. God will, does and can use whomever He chooses to use to fulfill His plans and purposes. This is what I see happening in our present day. Let me briefly talk about Jeroboam mentioned in 2 Kings 14:26-27, "For the Lord saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter: for there was not any shut up, nor any left, nor any helper for Israel." 27) And the Lord said not that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven: but he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash." In a nutshell, God used the bad guy to save His people! After all, Scripture really doesn't say anything good about anyone named Jeroboam yet in 1 and 2 Kings, the name Jeroboam, son of Nebat, appears repeatedly. In 2 Kings 13:11, we can see how Scripture associates the name of Jeroboam with evil. It says, "And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord; he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin: but he walked therein." You see, in both 1 Kings and 2 Kings, a wicked king isn't just simply evil; he's equated to the evil like Jeroboam, son of Nebat. The verse above describes King Joash, who decided to name his own successor after the ruler who set the golden standard for sinfulness and evil in Israel. So it shouldn't come as no big surprise that Jeroboam II followed in the footsteps of his namesake. Nevertheless, God used crooked Jeroboam II to straighten out His people’s problems. Many may ask why God uses evil people for His good. Well, remember what Joseph said in Genesis 50:20, "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive."

We are Not Alone

Knowing this, we can take comfort knowing that the very One who used someone as evil as Jeroboam II for good has the same power to do the same today, too! Remember, He's the same today, yesterday and tomorrow! This little bit of nugget means we shouldn't mistake the evil that we may find in ourselves and that we find in others as something possibly immune to God’s influence. It is not immune! Instead, we should do well to literally think of the darkest corners of our hearts, and the hearts of others, as being potential sites of transformation where the Lord might work to repurpose our fallenness for His glory. I mean, think about it, if God can use the bad guy to save His people, the way He chose to use Jeroboam, how much more will He use His flawed, broken, cracked followers of Christ!?! Those very same people who truly love Him and long to please Him, who desire to obey and do His will for His purposes? We all fall. We all fail. We all stumble along this dusty road. What separates us Christ followers, the true believers, from the rest of the unbelieving world is we know we are forgiven, that when we do fail, fall, stumble or break, we can turn to our Heavenly Father for help and He will lift us up, brush the dirt off of our knees and send us on our way with a new lesson learned! All of which makes us stronger, gives us endurance and helps us conform to His image as He originally created us to be! Nobody is perfect but through each trial, each tribulation, each hardship and battle and each time we are sent into the wilderness, it is for our own growth, for our own good, to help us rely upon the Lord and for His mission He has for us! Sometimes, we need to be completely stripped of who we are in order to become who the Lord meant for us to be! If that means going through a lot of trials, heartaches, hardships and tribulations, then it will all be for His glory when we walk through the other side a much stronger person, a much more mature Christian and best of all, much closer to Him than we were before......His hand is extended to us, waiting for us to grab onto it like a child grabs onto their parents hands. All of these trials, hardships and battles strengthen us in Him and for His glory. They are for His purpose. For His perfect Will and for those moments when He calls you to the battlefield. They remind us that we aren't alone, and other brothers and sisters are battling and struggling too. It's no different than all the trials, hardships, struggles and battles this world seems to be going through right this very moment. Remember that we all were chosen for such a time as this. We could've been born into a different generation gone by. But we weren't. He wanted us here. Right now. For all that we are fighting for.....so don't give up. The best is yet to come!

So with that said, let's look at falling apart in a little different light, as difficult as that may seem to many reading this! But first, let me give some encouraging Scripture to help you, and me, get through these days a little easier!
1) Isaiah 41:10, "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'"
2) Jeremiah 29:11, " For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
3) Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."
4) John 14:1, "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me."
5) Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29) Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30) For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
6) Matthew 6:25-27, "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26) Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27) Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?"
As we feel like things are all falling apart around us, to us and in the world, worrying doesn’t, and won't, change the situation. By us worrying only ends up putting restraints on you and on your relationships with others and ultimately with the Lord! Worrying really serves no purpose but we all tend to do it and experience that emotion from time to time. You see, the Lord sustains everything in the world; He leaves nothing untouched as He is everywhere and we must start learning to be dependent on Him, just like the birds! By doing so, it helps us grow stronger in the tougher situations in life and have endurance to finish the race. It strengthens our faith and produces patience. We all have those times in our lives where we look around and feel like our life is completely falling apart, whether it's real or perceived. When things haven't worked out quite the way we wanted them to, or everything we try to accomplish fails or falls short, or when everything we touch turns to dust, life just seems to be a steep uphill battle with people and things pushing you down along the way. But to say it best, it's during our most trying times that we are meant to look to the Lord because He is where our strength comes from, where our comfort is found, where our peace resides. It's through Him that we find our strength and hope. Don't worry about all those things that the Lord already has control over. Don't try to take the keys back from Him and let Him drive! Trust that He has your life in His safe keeping and that He has you where you are for a reason, for such a time as this. He will guide you and give you direction and all you need to do is pray and surrender to Him. There's a twist to how we can, and probably should, look at things when they're seemingly falling apart. Let me explain.....

Falling Into Place

If you believe, as I do, that God is in control of everything from the smallest of what we'd think of as being insignificant, like helping us find our "lost" set of keys, to the major, more grand things, then you must also believe that everything happens by His perfect design, whether by our free will and choice, through circumstances or simply by His divine appointment. Think long and hard about that and know where you stand! Before I continue, God knew us long before we were ever conceived. He chose each of us. He knew when and where we were going to be born, to whom our parents were going to be and into what family! He knows and numbered the hairs on our heads. He knows what choices we will make, what the consequences of those choices will be, and knows the beginning and the end. He's that personal! He created us afterall. So if you believe everything is by His perfect design and that He is in control of it all, then are things really falling apart? Or are they falling right into place, the way they were designed and in His perfect will? Ah, this has crossed my mind on more than one occasion and as recent as this writing. God changed my direction of what I first thought I was to write about because He showed me that when things are falling apart, they're really just falling into place. For His purpose. By His design. By His Divine Appointment. No coincidence. And it is here that I will inject the perfect verse to accompany this statement, found in Romans 8:27-28, "Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28) And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Even though we go through trials and hardships and seemingly some of us feel like we never break through to the other side of the mountain, we must never forget that God works together for good to those who love God to those who are the called according to His purpose because He will never leave us nor forsake us! Ever! Our "internal" world's may be clashing and colliding and spinning out of control, but He's already went before us and it was finished on the Cross! So nothing, and I do mean NOTHING, happens that catches God unaware because it all goes through His hands first! When you have those tough questions to ask of God, seek His face! You will find that not only did it not catch Him by surprise, but you weren't the only one who's ever asked those questions before!

You see my friends, brothers and sisters, God knew there would be times in our lives where we'd be so entangled in fear and wrought with uncertainty that we'd lose sight of His goodness, His mercy and His presence. He knew that there'd be some very difficult circumstances that would likely cause us to question why God would take us through such difficulties, and for some might have them question whether they could even trust God moving forward. I've been guilty of asking why I had to go through so many difficulties, I admit. But look at the Israelites because they were no exception. They were forced to endure some extremely desperate circumstances when there seemed to be no end in sight. But our Loving God gave them a reason to trust Him saying, in Jeremiah 29:11, " For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." We can't always expect to make sense of what God is doing in our lives in the present, because our minds and thoughts are not His, but I can assure you, we can hold onto the promise that God has great things in store for our future, plans to prosper us and give us purpose in His plans for us. When we are on the verge of giving up and giving in, He has plans to give us HOPE and a future despite our darkest days. That's an awesome, amazing God that we serve! It's often at the result of a crippling devastating pain, or a loss in the wake of our past that we tend to struggle the most in believing the best is yet to come! Remember Job!? He lost everything. He lost his fortune, his home, his health, every one of his children. He, too, wondered if God was even listening to him or worse, if God cared. This was through his greatest pain! He was so overwhelmed and overtaken with grief that he literally begged God to kill him for fear there was nothing left to live for. How alone and frustrated he must have felt! But Job also did something very surprising that many of us find absolutely inspiring! Through it all, he worshipped the very God that he didn't understand! If you know the story, God took notice of Job's faith in spite of all of his sufferings, which there were many, and we find what God did in Job 42:10-12, "And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. 11) Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the Lord had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold. 12) Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys." God hasn't stopped providing or restoring His faithful, obedient children!

Just as much as this applies to our personal lives and in our personal journeys in this life we've been blessed with, so too does it apply to the world's events that we see unfolding right before our very eyes! These are without a doubt, biblical events unfolding, fulfilling prophecy as described in the the Bible! These are scary, yet exciting times to be alive because we know the end, we know God wins and this life and the world we suffer in, will be anew! Satan is hard at work, which is why we are seeing and experiencing so much turmoil and chaos and strife this past year! Satan knows his time is short and is setting the "end" in motion, or so he thinks. I believe the bride, which is all of the true believers and followers of Jesus Christ, need to be ready and look up! Our flight is almost ready to board and about to take off! We have the blessed hope of not having been appointed to wrath and to be "caught up" in the pre-tribulation rapture. Harpazo, when there will be a sudden and instantaneous disappearance of many! The rapture is imminent! I've written some articles on the rapture and the tribulation period and possibly will write an updated post to one of them. Anyway, Satan knows his time is running out and he's causing all the unrest, the division, the hate, the evil-doing, the darkness all over the land. He's also causing fear, worry, depression and anxiety.  However, please remember, he must also answer to our God! God will not allow him to do anything that doesn't go through His hands first or that God doesn't orchestrate by using him. Everything falling apart in the world is falling right into place in God's timing and in His will and for His purpose! Just as was written throughout Scripture, it is happening as we speak. It's hard to step back and look at this chaotic, unsure, evil world and tip our hats to what we're seeing even though we know it must happen! It doesn't make it any easier to watch, to experience or to live through. But honestly, for me, knowing the world is falling apart, just means I'm that much closer to going "home" to be with my Lord and Savior, of which I can't wait! I must say, however, I find myself with anxiety when I intermingle in society because I'm staring into a world of faceless strangers. This by design of the adversary the devil! He wants to destroy, kill and steal whatever the Lord God has created us to be, and interactive, communicative, facial expressions are part of human interaction! Without that, it becomes impersonal. I think of babies and little toddlers that rely on facial expressions from their mothers, fathers and other people in general as part of their vital development! It's not there. I continue to pray for the people of the world! My anxiety is increasing as I try to face a faceless world, and functioning in society is becoming extremely difficult to do. I recently had my first interview where I had to wear a mask. All of us were uncomfortable and none of us could tell much about each other except if we actually laughed.

The world is going through some very dark times and it's on track to get worse and much darker. With that darkness, surely will come more relational problems, more mental health problems, more societal problems. The media would make one believe that there are many millions who are "willingly and happily" complying and that's just not the truth. The media is part of this problem because they push out some of the most fearful, horrifying lies I've heard in years just so people will turn against eachother, remain in fear and obedience and comply to their draconian tactics. Funny how these "rules" made by our leaders around the world are somehow "good for thee but not for me." Many being caught doing the very opposite of what they have deemed "rules" they command of their citizens to obey.  The inconsistencies of everything should give pause to being so willing to follow the foundational New World Order/One World Order. There will come a time when difficult decisions will have to be made. This is the end game. It's their end game. Ultimately, that's what this all will lead to and I want to just say for a moment, if you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, now is the time! Don't wait! Tomorrow isn't promised and since the rapture is imminent, meaning at any time without notice, those of us who know Jesus as our Savior and have been saved by Grace alone, want you on the flight with us! These times will not get any better. These evil days will get more evil as the tribulation period draws closer. For those who are new or who don't know much about the 7 year tribulation period, it's the time when God pours out His judgment on the unbelievers and for His chosen Israelites/Jewish people! It's a time of great suffering, devastation, death, destruction, horrifyingly difficult times, where we find in Revelation 9:6, "Therefore in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it, and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them."

The One World Order that all the elitists and the world leaders are speaking about as I'm writing this to you, leads to that place! It's a time of extreme judgment and it's a time I wouldn't wish anyone to suffer through. The believers, the bride, will have to endure some hardships and suffering prior TO the tribulation as the world changes on its way to the judgment of God, but in no way will we go through the tribulation and be faced with the judgment of the unbelievers. This is when halfway through the 7 years, the beast will come to demand worship of him and the mark of the beast will be offered. It will be a choice. It will not be forced. Just as it will be with the inoculations, it will be a choice BUT there will be conditions attached to it. By that I mean, if you don't take the "jab" you won't be able to move about freely as you once did. If you don't take the "jab" you will not be able to enter stores, etc. It is a conditioning for the mark of the beast because it tells us in Revelation 13:16-18, "And he made all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads. 17) And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18) Here is wisdom. Let him that hath wit, count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred threescore and six." So you can see the correlation between how the leaders are conditioning everyone for the end game, to take the mark. Right now, areas around the world are toying with a certificate to prove one has taken the "jab." At the same time, they have been reported as indicating if you don't, you won't be able to buy or sell or return to normal. Looks familiar to scripture above, now doesn't it. It's almost like an "exercise" or a trial run just to see how much push back they will get so they can tweak their plans for the future. They know their "master" that they "serve," the devil, will deceive many. They aren't ignorant of his devices, nor should you be! Please keep in mind that if you aren't part of the bride to be raptured before the 7 year tribulation period begins, you will endure some horrific times. However, if you aren't saved and enter the tribulation, you can still have one last shot at Jesus's free gift of salvation! During the tribulation period, your last chance will be given. It will be your ultimate eternal choice! Once you take the mark of the beast, though, you have made your final destination choice to eternal hell. A choice, once made, along with the receipt of the mark, can never be undone! It's final. An eternity in hell....

I see so many things falling into place that I'm not sure they truly are falling apart. I think about how amazingly beautiful, beyond our wildest imaginations, our world, the earth, was upon His creation before Satan tempted Adam and Eve and sin entered the world. Paradise! I can't imagine what that looks like but I know we will eventually see a new earth! The old world and its ways will be gone forever! I don't know about you, but that's the kind of world I can't wait to inhabit with our Lord, King Jesus! Looking over this year alone, with all the trials, struggles, heartaches, hardships and battles we've all had to face, or at least most of us, should be a time for each of us to re-evaluate our lives, our relationship with our Creator and His Son Jesus Christ. It's a time for each of us to get battle ready, find our strength in the Lord and hold tightly to His promises. It's a time for each of us to realize how fragile life is, how swiftly things can change, how nothing is really in our control and that our God is a great, loving, merciful God who has our best interest at hand! We need to take a moment to look at this chaos around us, look at how it's changing the behaviors of people, your neighbors, your co-workers, your family and friends and understand who's behind the spirit of chaos. Chaos that has covered the world over, shadowed by the great unknowns of life, leading people into darkness. The LIGHT is there! It's up to us to shine His LIGHT into the darkness to give eachother hope! These times are difficult times. The chaos and the unknown is putting fear into many hearts and minds preventing them from seeking and finding the peace of our Lord Jesus! I know these days are dark. I know they are difficult as I'm living proof of these times and I know I'm not alone! As the world appears to be falling apart though, remember who's in control! Remember the outcome at the end will be much more beautiful than all the darkness and battles we've endured for a short time here on earth. When we look at how much is actually falling apart, we also must look at the possibility that it's also God's way to get our attention, for those who have been too "busy" in this life, who's lost true meaning of family, who's constantly been keeping their noses deep in social media platforms living a life of keyboard warriors. God loves His creation so much that He's still giving people chances. I saw this whole "pandemic" as a wakeup call, as a time for people to slow down, to face reality once again and to realize life ISN'T about what you have gained in materialistic things or power or fame and fortune. Life isn't about any of that trivial stuff. I used to tell some people who had the attitude of "I'm better than you" because of whatever they deemed was better, that it's people like them who will have a hard time making it if anything were to happen and it was all taken away from them. They have put their value in material things. I meant it too. I've struggled long and hard and understand how things can be taken away. That kind of success isn't important to me. What's important is how I live my life through Jesus for others to see. What's important is the love I show to those who feel unloved. What's important is where I spend eternity when this life bids me farewell. My salvation is the most important decision I've ever made and it's an eternal one!

Love Not the World!

1 John 2:15, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the
love of the Father is not in him." You see, there's a reason why we
shouldn't love the world or the things in it. If we become so entrenched in the things of this world, we become like the world. There's nothing here that's "wonderful" enough to keep me here. Sure we have our likes and desires and there's nothing wrong with that, but this verse isn't talking about those desires. It's speaking about worldly things and the love of them to the point that it becomes your "idol" or your "god." On the other side of the coin, we know nothing in this world lasts forever! It all decays and rots away. It all fades away with time. So it shouldn't be a surprise that the events of this day are nothing more than events that decay and rots this world away, a world encased in sin and evil. As we look at the world falling apart, there's also a sense of the way it's being torn down being symbolic to how the enemy is wearing down the people in its land! People are growing weary. They are growing anxious. They are growing despondent. Those of us who know Jesus and have a relationship with Him, know our hope remains in Him and we know He is carrying us through the fire. But those who don't know Him, they are seeking their comfort in all the wrong places which ultimately blinds them to seeing what is really taking place. During this "pandemic" the first thing I noticed and was keenly aware of is the attack on the churches and religions of faith. It was disturbing to say the least as it was so blatant. It was my first indicator that the world was about to take on a life of its own directed by Satan himself. He hates the church with a passion and he wants to destroy it because it embodies truth of Jesus. Satan wanted to BE God and since he can't be, he wants to destroy any and all of God's creation. A slippery slope has been erected and many are falling right off of it into the mire! I watched as more and more rights were being stripped from us all over the world. I watched complacency grow while hate and evil and lawlessness got praised. Everything God detests and abhors is now being called good and all that He loves is now being called evil. Everything shifted so quickly. It all came together all at once. But while it was coming together, it was being torn apart, falling apart. In order for the world to all become a One World Order, it all must be on the same page which is why these "trials" are taking place sporadically across the globe. You see, it's all falling apart but falling right into place! There will be a one world leader and a cashless society. It's all falling into place. Prophecy is being fulfilled! Be excited!

You see, darkness is all around us. It's everywhere and it appears to be growing boldly. But the Light of Christ is much brighter and is right behind it waiting to shine into the darkness because it must flee! No matter how much we see the world falling apart, God remains the same! God is faithful. He is still in the healing business. He still carries the whole world in His hands. He still gives us strength. He still sends the Holy Spirit to comfort us. God sees, God knows, and He still answers our prayers. God is faithful, when the world is falling apart. Don't let these things shake your faith because we must remember they all must happen to fulfill His prophecy and His Word. Jesus stated that at the time of His return, the entire world will be like the "days of Noah," with some semblance of normalcy. Matthew 24:37, "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be." In other scriptures, clearly reveals that the world in Noah’s day was also filled with evil, violence and corruption found in Genesis 6:5-8, "Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6) And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7) So the Lord said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." 8) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord." Prophecy also tells of increasing social chaos ahead as found in 2 Timothy 3:1-4, "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2) For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3) unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4) traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God," As if all of that wasn't clear and concise enough, let's take one last look at some of the signs of the end of the age as we know it and you will undoubtedly agree that although the world is falling apart, it is, indeed, falling into place! Let's look at Matthew 24:3-8, "Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" 4) And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. 5) For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. 6) And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7) For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8) All these are the beginning of sorrows." Then we look at 2 Timothy 3:2-5, "For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3) Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, intemperate, fierce, no lovers at all of them which are good, 4) Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, 5) Having a show of godliness, but have denied the power thereof: turn away therefore from such." Take a look around you, around your part of the world, in your villages and cities and towns. Isn't this what you see right now? Look around the world, you will see it all coming together, falling right in place! We all really need to watch the world events closely in the light of Bible prophecy as we see Christ’s return approaching....because His return is approaching!

As we seemingly watch the world falling apart and simultaneously watch our own lives also seemingly falling apart, we should understand that both are falling into place. These are stressful times, no doubt! We are told to pray for our leaders, 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2) for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence." This is true. However, remember, no "man" will save our world and what is to be will be as in accordance to the will of God. We need to be prayer warriors because our countries will likely be lost at the hands of the enemy but we must pray for God's perfect will to be done, HIS will, not ours! It's important that we pray for our country, our leaders, etc., but this is truly a massive SPIRITUAL battle that we're in as Ephesians 6:11-13 reminds us! "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12) For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13) Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." You see, it isn't our job to "save" our country or our world, but it IS our job, our called duty, to be the light to those who are lost in the dark, to point them to Jesus, to pray for those last lost souls to come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior before it's too late! Everything that's falling apart is also falling into place and we were warned through God's Word in advance. Satan has been hard at work because he knows his time is short. Great news though...God already WON! God will answer the prayers of the righteous but as we know through scripture, it might not be the answer our flesh and hearts desire or was hoping for, but it's His answer nonetheless! God uses anyone He chooses to fulfill His purpose and for His glory. We will all need to stand together in battle and stand strong for what's left of this decayed, evil world, and its leaders, but remember, our fight isn't worldly! It's spiritual through and through. Due to sin, the world is a fallen world so it should come as no surprise that over time, it continues to decay from it's evil, which means it's been falling apart since sin entered it! So everything is falling into place....

The Wicked Will Fall!

There is a wickedness permeating this world as we watch it fall deeper into the pit! It's Satan's tool and he's using it enmass! Wickedness is truly abound and acts/thoughts/words that are violently abhorrent and an abomination to the Creator God, are creeping into every slice of life around us faster than we can blink. Beware!! Satan is roaming around seeking who he can devour.....and he's not going to ease up his attacks but instead ramp them up several levels! It's who he is and what he does. Do not be fooled! So what does wickedness actually mean biblically? The Greek word for wickedness is "ponēria." In this, it means "depravity, iniquity," or "malice" and malice means to do evil with purpose, desires, and doing so with intent. That's pretty powerful, wouldn't you agree? Well, by doing anything with malice literally means that it's an intentional commission of a wrongful act and is completely absent from any justification for the person committing it. This is evident in today's world. It's done with the intent to cause harm to others, physically, mentally and even spiritually, and in turn, it causes harm most of all to God's Goodness and Being. It's a conscious violation of the law that injures an individual or individuals with no afterthought or remorse. In this case, it never injures God but does injure all those with whom it's directed towards, and against, and it certainly injures the person committing such a horrendous, horrible act since the wages of all sin is death as said in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Wickedness with malice indicates the depravity of the individual. Look around. Listen to the news. Read the headlines. There is a sense of deprivation not seen in generations past. Wickedness is all through the Old Testament and the New Testament as well. In the New Testament, Paul clearly knew all about wickedness because he was constantly fighting the battles with wicked spirits in high places and those wicked spirits often used men to attack him. Paul fought on. Paul battled on. We must too! To be clear, God is NOT behind the wickedness, Satan is the ringleader in that arena. You see, God hates the wicked because their wickedness is fully and truly expressed in ways that cause harm to the people He has created in His image. So, because sinful people can't storm the gates of heaven to dethrone and destroy God Himself, they turn on what is nearest and dearest to Him, those who are nearest to His image in which He created mankind. They act out their wickedness against other people, causing pain, suffering, playing "god," torturing, murdering, defiling and performing all kinds of evil deeds on humans. They hurt them, harm them, maim them, kill them. In their leaders name and for their leader, Satan. Don't be fooled my dear readers and friends!! This is REAL! There's a whole other world that, by the Grace of our God, we are protected from knowing too much about. God hates the rebelling, willfully wicked because it's their wickedness that's solely expressed particularly against God’s own elect. Wicked people turn their fury against God’s people, mocking them, persecuting them, putting them to death. Why? Because they belong to God, they are Christ-like in His image, and the wicked react to what is inside of God's children, the Holy Spirit! Hence the exponential growth of persecution of the churches, the Christians and our freedom of religion!

So, when everyone wasn't looking, being distracted by their phones, electronic devices, drowning in their social media, searching out the latest entertainment story of the hour, keeping their heads buried deep in the sand, busying themselves with exhaustive hours, after-school activities and so on, something wicked this way came.....and it took up residence because too many people were asleep and left the doors wide open. Evil and wickedness is not new by any means and has been around since the fall of man. It's not an anomaly. Many times in the Bible, it warns that toward the end of history as you and I know it, there will be a return to the pre-flood conditions of gross sin and severe wickedness. Concerning the people of Noah's day, the Scripture says, in Genesis 6:5, "Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." All past ancient civilizations  have been brought down through destruction through sin.  Look at Rome. She went on a gigantic wickedness spree toward the end of her history, much the same way as the world has been doing now for the past several years. Nero committed suicide in 68 A.D. then Rome’s overthrow came more than 400 years later. You see, in one moment, almost omnipotent power was within Rome’s grasp; and the next, came her ultimate destruction. Immorality and uncleanness occupied the minds of Roman rulers and of antediluvians. So, too, in the world today, we see a world saturated with sexual sins, violent sins, murderous sins, perverted sin in places high and low. Why? Many people have deliberately chose the ways of sin and death. They do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. They prefer to have temporary earthly satisfaction, earthly "rewards" and gratification than eternal life! This is a diabolical pattern evident in all nations that rejected God’s Word as their ultimate authority in their lives, and the country's leadership, and is a pattern prevailing today in many people all over the world, Americans included. There is and always has been a desensitization of  our society, with each generation getting more and more desensitized to the point where things just don't matter. People don't flinch anymore at the sight of evil doers and the crimes they commit. People look the other way. People just got "used" to things and continue on their merry little ways as our generation is being sucked into the vacuum of evil, wicked people. I found the following excerpt that I'm copying in its entirety from 1994. Even though it's many years ago, it holds so much truth to NOW. As I read it, I couldn't help but reflect on just how much worse off we are in 2020 than 1994. How much more diabolical people have become, yet, these following words still ring true.

"As a society, we have gotten used to illicit sexual relationships, adolescent promiscuity, abortion, cheating, lying, stealing, prostitution, rape, divorce, and even murder. We have gotten used to financial mismanagement on both civil and personal levels. We have accepted political corruption. We have rejected personal and social responsibility and learned to blame anyone or anything else for our problems and failures. We have traded in our infinitely valued divine image for a nickel-plated pagan shrine erected in honor of self-interest, immorality, and social apathy. The American ideal today is me first to do what I want, when I want, to whom I want, regardless of who or what it may hurt. These are the signs of a society gone wrong. [Keith A. Fournier, “Re-Civilizing America,” Law & Justice, February 1994.]"

As you feel like your life is falling apart during these very difficult times, stressful times, know that it's part of the journey and it's ok to cry. It's ok to be sad. It's ok to be frightened and concerned....but only for a time....He will lift you, comfort you and support you but most of all, LOVE YOU! That is the beauty of our Lord! God so loved the WORLD that He gave His only begotten SON....what an unselfish SACRIFICE! Our breakdowns can, and often times do, create breakthroughs in our battles! Remember, things fall apart so they can fall together! Trust Jesus! Put your faith in His plan because He is our only hope and our only way out!

James 1:2-4, "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3) knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4) But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing."

THE APOSTLE PAUL TELLS US WHAT THE GOSPEL IS IN 1 CORINTHIANS 15:1-4, "Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2) by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. 3) For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4) and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,"

If you aren't saved and haven't been born again, it's not too late! He is your only hope! Fall into place! Admit you're a sinner, believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins on the Cross and shed His blood to pay your sin debt in full and rose three days later. Be adopted into His kingdom family because it's never too late!
