Evil and Its Many Faces

Luke 21:36, "Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Matthew 24:3-12, "Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?" 4) And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. 5) For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. 6) And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7) For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8) All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9) "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10) And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11) Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold."

Stand On His Word
In light of the most recent scandal that has swept the world, shedding light into the darkest of darkness, I have become more keenly aware of the underbelly of evil. I've always known what it is, where it sleeps and what it does. I've always known the effects it has on its victims. I've always known its devices. The closer I got to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the clearer I could see it. The more I studied the prophecies and the end times, the more I could connect all the dots. I knew evil had many faces. But in this year alone, it has made me wail for the return of Jesus! It has made my spirit cry out for those who have been swallowed up by the devil's darkest places. And this scandal, the pizzagate/pedophile/satanic cult/governmental-political corruption scandal, took evil to a whole new level. Did I know it's always existed? Yes. Did I know the depths and the vileness of its existence? Not until recently. Not until I began to see the evil being hidden in plain sight and those with eyes could see, but those who were still blinded continued to believe the lies even more fervently than ever before! The pizzagate/pedophile/satanic cult/governmental-political corruption scandal that rocked the people to their very core, was the icing on the cake. I made a comment to someone recently that what has been uncovered and then "covered back up" I have no words to describe because it goes far beyond the definitions of all the words we know!! Yes, that's true. After my last article, I researched a little more because I noticed there were some parts of the media that were pushing "Fake News" headlines to debunk what has come to light and has proven to be truth! As with any scandal that's been uncovered throughout history, there will always be some "untruths" that will be thrown in to sensationalize a story and that usually happens after the main truths have been reported. I'm sure this scandal is no different however, even with the few "untruths" it's the worst thing I've ever come across in its entirety and it goes places that we, as a human, caring race should never venture! But they did! And they are.....

I want to reiterate that this scandal packaged every single sin imaginable to man all in one wrapped up box. Lies, deception, sexual immorality and deviance's, sacrifice, idolatry, theft, coveting, witchcraft, blackmail, corruption at the highest levels and so on. I don't want to imagine any more of what could have been going on because it's beyond bad as it is and the box is being slowly unwrapped. This rabbit trail leads to MANY holes and involves many different "fronts" in order to continue the madness. It even involves the "art" world and I will use that term loosely because the woman in question who performs this "art" and who creates this "art" as well as the "spirit cooking" dinner parties, does it all for Satan, clearly. As do those who attend. With that said, I've seen many more faces of evil through this horrific finding! I had to remind myself that it's not the people themselves that I'm wrestling against because they are lost and without Jesus Christ. It's the enemy who is working THROUGH them that I'm wrestling against. Satan and his demons are using those who are willing and there seems to be many who are choosing this way and are willing to sacrifice eternal life for a life of temporary satisfaction. A life that will surely lead to an eternity in hell and fire! It's a choice they are making, though, so anyone who is reading this that is NOT a Christian and who hasn't received Jesus as your Savior, it's your choice, your decision of who to follow. It's never too late unless you die first before you choose Him! This is what I pray for all the time, for the lost souls to be found and for their Salvation! I had to get past my disgust, my anger, my pain, the total sickening feeling I got, in order to separate the "person" from the enemy who is working through them because as it's stated in Ephesians 6:12, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

You see, we are all just flesh and blood born into this fallen world, but the difference is some of us have chosen to follow Jesus Christ, who are filled with the Holy Spirit and covered with the Blood of Jesus Christ. Those of us who are walking with Jesus are saved from eternal damnation, have Faith and walk in the Light. Others are not filled with the Holy Spirit, not saved by Grace, who are still choosing to live daily in the flesh and in the darkness, and who will be in eternal damnation. The principalities and powers and rulers of the darkness of this world are all spiritual wickedness! Satan is the "god" of this world. He is roaming around seeking those who he may devour. He has his own "legions" of demons to assist him in his evil endeavors and agenda. Don't be mistaken! The devil may be the ruler of the world but God is still in control and He still calls the names, waiting for them to answer His call! It doesn't matter how far "gone" one thinks they are; it doesn't matter what one may have done in their lives, or how horrible those things may have been, because if they call upon the name of Jesus, believe they are a sinner in need of a Savior, truly repent of their sins, believe Jesus is God in the flesh, born to a virgin, died on the Cross to shed His blood to pay our sin debt in full, and rose three days later, they WILL be saved! That's the Promise of our Creator God! Jesus even saved the thief on the cross beside Him so He will save you and them too. If they continue to CHOOSE the life with Satan and to live in the darkest of dark places, then they have chosen to live eternally in Hell burning forever. Not the recommended choice and it is not what our Lord wants for any of us! 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."

I'll be honest, it is NOT easy differentiating from the entities that I KNOW are driving the forces of evil to be done and played out by the willing bodies and the people themselves. As is human nature, we are conditioned to see the actions of others as just that...THEIR actions. We are conditioned to see the person who perpetrates evil as the evil itself. Actually, the person is the vehicle that drives the evil and who the devil and his demons work THROUGH. That's what I need to look at and fight against, not the person themselves. There are many faces of evil and many fall victim to its destruction. 2 Timothy 3:1-5, "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2) For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3) unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4) traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5) having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!" Those perilous times are here, growing in intensity and will continue to get worse until the sky opens up. There are violent protests, riots and uprisings all over the world today. There are people going hungry, homeless, and jobless. The economy worldwide is in trouble, the banking systems are nearly crashing and folding under and everything just seems ready to explode! People are lovers of themselves and their love for others has grown cold. There are earthquakes in places that never felt the earth shake before. Diseases are resurfacing at a rate that even the CDC can't keep up with. There is terrorism sweeping the world, persecutions of Christians all over. There's a surge of mental illness like nothing we've ever seen before. I could go on and on but I know you see my point. And all of this, plays right into the hands of the beast power who can bring the "solution" to the troubles of this world. I'm witnessing some of those "solutions" taking place in this world as I write! But that solution will be a deception unlike anything the world has ever seen.

The words in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 are pretty strong words and instructions. Each of the words are faces of evil that are at play in this world just as they are at play in the scandal mentioned above and in my previous post. Are we in the end times, the perilous times? Yes, I believe that we are! We most definitely have a faulty moral pillar and it seemingly becomes even more so as the seconds pass on by. Satan continues in his rebellion and evil ways, even today and since he hates God and His plans, he will continue to do what he does until his time is up. Since he knows that time is short, and getting shorter by the day, he wants people to worship him and follow in his evil ways. He defiantly opposes Jesus Christ, our Creator God who took on the form of man to redeem humanity from their sin, and restore their relationship with Him. I found the next chart of comparison between Jesus and Satan that I found interesting enough to share.

Characteristic Jesus Satan
Purpose Lead people to salvation Lead people into rebellion
Methods Tell people the truth Tell people lies
Motivation Love Hate
Followers experience Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control Sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, envy, drunkenness, orgies
Following leads to Freedom from sin Enslavement and bondage to sin

Jude 18-19, "how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19) These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit." These times, these things, have already been spoken about through the God-breathed words of Scripture. They have been prophesied for such a time as this. You see, before one is saved, they are a slave to their own desires and without peace in their minds or hearts. They are a slave to fear, sin, addictions, anger, sexual immorality and hate. They do what they want, no matter the cost so long as they are satisfied. They live in constant rebellion against the Lord and remain enslaved and in bondage to sin. They remain full of hatred, whether they know it or not, and that hatred spills out in their rebellion and in opposition to those who disagree. Matthew 24:12 tells us, "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." You must admit, as you take a look around you, idolatry, adultery, violence, lust, greed, homosexuality, theft, and lying you will see the world is abounding in these sins, and not just the heathen world, but also WITHIN THE CHURCH! There are those inside the church who sought the fluffy preaching and teachings and have not fully repented or found Salvation in Christ Alone! This world is truly aching and crying out under the burden of sin, and God will not let it carry on for much longer. Let's just look at ONE sin - Abortion. In the United States alone, since 1973, over 50 MILLION babies have been aborted. That's a staggering count! It has grown into something so heartbreaking to legalizing later term abortions and out of the womb abortions as long as it's before 15 minutes. I've never seen the likes of the many who support those in power who legalize the "sacrifice" of babies! It's a billion dollar industry as well! Abortion is one of the many faces of evil.

Be Found Righteous in Jesus!
It absolutely saddens and disgusts me all at the same time by the sheer amount of people, including some so-called Christians, who refuse to expose evil and instead, in many ways align themselves WITH it! By that I mean, anyone who doesn't oppose sin and instead "agrees with or supports" sin and the choices of others, aligns themselves with evil. This is because they choose to go along with the "world" and be "politically correct" rather than expose the evil and stand firm on the Word of God! Exposing evil is what we're, as Christians, commanded to do! Those that have exposed, researched, and brought to light the pizzagate/pedophile/satanic cult/governmental-political corruption, and continue to do so, are to be commended greatly because what they uncovered seared their hearts and minds and souls enough to take a stand at any cost! They knew they would be up against a corrupt backlash and against the grain. They didn't care and they took the risk! They did what they did because of their own conscience, love of children, country and humanity and what was RIGHT! What they did, what they risked, is amazingly brave! Other scandals and "rings" surfaced around the world connected to the recent discovery in the US. It's world-wide. Exposing evil is something we must do as we trudge through the muddy waters of the world. Ephesians 5:11, "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them." I'd say that was about as clear as God can get!!! Some people, and Christians are guilty of this as well, will throw out the proverbial, "Judge not, that you be not judged" scripture found in Matthew 7:1, which first of all, is talking about hypocritical judging. We are commanded to righteously judge! Clearly indicated in John 7:24, " Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." Now let's take just a minute to differentiate between the two kinds of judgments before moving on.

We may not judge according to appearance. This simply means that we should not judge on the basis of insufficient, superficial information found in the outward appearance of others. As we know, outward appearance is often deceptive. 1 Timothy 5:24-25, "Some men’s sins are clearly evident, preceding them to judgment, but those of some men follow later. 25) Likewise, the good works of some are clearly evident, and those that are otherwise cannot be hidden." Righteous judgment, on the other hand, must be based on solid, conclusive evidence. We should not judge on the strict basis of appearance, personal opinions (which often change), or unsubstantiated suspicions. We are not take God's place in judgment (James 4:11-12), we should not condemn the guiltless by neglecting mercy (Matthew 12:7), we are not to judge with insufficient knowledge (1 Corinthians 4:3-5), we are not to judge in matters of opinion (Romans 14:10-13). We must really keep these warnings carefully in mind and tucked away inside of our hearts. So when we also look at John 7:24, "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." we can see it is also oftentimes the wailing cry of false teachers and hardened sinners who intentionally misapply the verse to ward off any kind of censure for their evil deeds. It happens all too often and it upsets me every time. Don't be intimidated by those types of people, and don't let them fill you with lies, because Jesus has commanded us TO judge with righteous judgment. Proverbs 17:15, "He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD"

With the many faces of evil found in just ONE scandal, much less its infiltration over the whole world, we can safely say that people don’t like their evil being exposed and they sure don't like it that you are exposing anyone else. If you back down in fear or intimidation from them, you are going against God’s Word and standing up for the devil while fighingt against God by condoning and supporting wickedness. If you do nothing, if you say nothing, if you don't share the truth by exposing the lies, then you are supporting wickedness, evil and the devils lies. Not a good position to be in, I would say! An example of this, is say a Christian who "supports" homosexuality on the basis that "everyone should be able to love who they want" and "who am I to judge" as pushed by the lies of Satan that eventually made its way to the population, being quickly embraced, for a lack of a better word. How can you love what God hates? How can you support was God is against? You are to hate everything that God hates and love everything that God loves. This does not mean we hate the sinner, or the person supporting sin. God LOVES those He created. We need to love the "sinner" as well. It DOES mean that we hate the sin that's being committed, and the support OF that sin. It means we stand against it, rebuke it, pray against it. Every biblical leader of recorded Biblical history stood up against evil and many even lost their lives for speaking out against it. It's the command that many aren't comfortable adhering to for "fear" of being shut out, shunned, isolated. But fear is NOT of the Lord and is of the enemy himself! There's a reason Jesus says true believers will be hated and persecuted because Satan hates the Truth and doesn't want his followers to hear it. If they heard the Truth of the Gospel, they could easily choose to follow and believe and Satan would lose another one! When a Christian speaks the truth, they are hated and persecuted because it's the Light that shines in the darkness that I often speak about in this blog! If you desire to live a godly life you will be persecuted and there is no way around it. Family will mock you and persecute you. Friends will be lost. Co-workers will shun you and isolate you. That's why so many believers choose to stay quiet whenever they’re on the hot seat because of fear of man. Man is fallen and should not be feared. It's a small price to pay though!

And as a reminder to those who remain silent in the face of evil or exposing it. Ezekiel 3:18-19, "When I say to the wicked, 'You shall surely die,' and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19) Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul." These are some powerful words and we should all be wise and take heed! Remaining silent is also a sin in and of itself. The old saying goes, "silence is golden." Well, no, not really. How can you justify the wicked and stand up for the devil rather than God? How can you call evil and what goes against God’s Word, good by simply condoning or supporting it? How can you love what God hates? There comes a moment in your life when you will have to choose sides. Whose side are you on? You see, our responsibility as Christians goes far beyond just abstaining from the deeds of darkness and the evil that resides inside of it. We're also called to expose them the evil and the darkness. You see, if we ignore evil, we encourage it, and if we keep quiet about it, we help to promote it. We are to confront sin with intolerance. Sometimes such exposure and reproof will be extremely direct and must be in order to expose what's been set before us. Other times, it will be indirect, but it should always be immediate. When we're living in obedience to God, walking with Him in close proximity, that fact in and of itself will be a testimony against wrongdoing and the evil. When those around us see us helping others in need instead of exploiting them; when they hear us talking with purity instead of filth and profanity, and observe us speaking with truth rather than lies, then our example will be a rebuke against selfishness, profane talk, and lies. By our refusal to participate in dishonest business or social practises will sometimes be such a strong rebuke that it costs us our job or a friendship. It has done so in my life. It wasn't easy but I knew what was right and I had to stand and not fold. Dishonesty is terribly uncomfortable in the presence of honesty, even when there is no verbal or other direct opposition. AMEN!!

Life Reflects the Heart!
In this world of today, people are swimming with the current of evil instead of against it. They aren't trying to swim against it because it's much easier and less tiring than struggling to swim upstream against a tide and current. In keeping silent, they are swimming with it. They are shoving evil things in our faces 24/7 while shoveling fear at us night and day. We have been inundated with evil in every part of our lives. Television, music, billboards, advertisements, corrupt books/magazines, cell phone apps, cartoons, toys and the internet. There really isn't much of a safe haven out there anymore. This is when time with the Lord is imperative and a must. This is a time that we must spend as much time with the Lord, seeking His face and basking in His Light so we can bust through the darkness and rebuke the evil. The world is becoming a scarier place every second we are alive to witness! There's a problem in this world that seems to be getting more prevalent. In the days gone by, people used to take care to try to hide their sins. They were always careful not to be found out. As we know, sin will ALWAYS find us out. Believers or non-believers. But lately, sins are being "normalized" and "legalized" so they are out in the open a little more strictly because they have become "normal" and "legal." Sure, there are others that have remained in the darkest of places, as was recently uncovered, but for how long will they be hidden? Will they become "normalized" and "legalized" too? I fear it's not too far off before everything becomes a "free for all" and "tolerated" choices. A frightening world that will be!!

The Holy Spirit will convict the world of its sins and there will be judgment by God. No doubt about that! But if we stop defending Christianity, if we stop exposing evil, if we stop saying Jesus Christ, if we stop rebuking false teachers, and confronting believers we'll have more people lost and led astray. More people will believe false teachings because it's all fluff and ear tickling. False teachings and doctrines of demons are the "feel-good" "it's all about what I want" words. I mean just look at how many people twist "thou shall not judge." This fits their agenda. This fits Satan's agenda. Remember, Satan knows the Bible too which is how he perverts it and twists it and uses it to deceive his followers to get them to stay with him. Frightening! So you see, whenever you remain quiet in the face of evil, then you start joining the wicked in their evil ways. Remember God will not be, and is not, mocked. Satan has been defeated! My plea for you all is to stop being part of the world, and instead. expose it! Save the precious lives that are still lost and wandering around in the dark. The person who truly loves Jesus Christ is the one who’ll stand up for Christ no matter if they lose friends, family, jobs, possessions or if the world hates them. Ephesians 5:13, "But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light." Wickedness flourishes in the dark and spreads where it's not exposed to light. In the darkness there's no accountability. The wickedness of sin is like leaven which spreads if left unchecked, 1 Corinthians 5:6, "Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?" and 1 Corinthians 5:9, "I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people." and 1 Corinthians 5:13, "But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person." and 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10) nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11) And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."

I know there will be scoffers and those people who have turned their backs on Christ that will read this and say, "stop judging." And to those, I say, I love you as Christ loves you and evil cannot survive in the Light! There IS a way out!!! Through the shed blood of Jesus Christ our Savior, who died on the Cross to pay our sin debt in full, who will save you through Grace if you admit that you are a sinner in need of a Savior, truly and fully repent of your sins and receive His free gift of Salvation and have everlasting Life!

Acts 2:21, "And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved.’"

Titus 2:11-12, "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12) teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,"

Romans 10:10, "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Luke 19:10, "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."

Matthew 7:13-14, "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14) Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,[a] for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek."

In closing with this dark subject, I want to give you a strong Scriptural rebuke to use against the many faces of evil that you will undoubtedly cross paths with on a daily basis. It can be found in Luke 10:19, " Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." DO NOT BE AFRAID!!!
