There's Power in Our Words

Words. The power that is packed inside of just one word is a matter of life and death to so many of us. Think about it. Let's take the word, stupid for instance. That's not encouraging. That's not uplifting. That's not kind. It literally KILLS one's spirit! It kills one's view of themselves and eventually that person becomes the very word that was received and believed. Now, let's take the word, smart. That's encouraging. That's uplifting. That's kind. That one word brings LIFE to someone's spirit and gives them hope and self-esteem. The power of our words can give life or death to someone and even incite hatred and violence as a result. Out of ALL of God's creatures on this planet, HUMANS are the only ones created to communicate through the spoken word. So in essence it is such a wonderful, unique and powerful gift to us from our Creator. Jesus reminds us all that the words we speak are actually and literally the overflow of our hearts. Matthew 12:34–35, "Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things." It's pretty amazing if you think about it because with this amazing generous gift to communicate with other humans through the spoken word, it also comes with great responsibility to use it wisely, to speak truth and with kindness to build up and encourage others! The Bible says clearly in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit."

So as the past few months sped by with all kinds of information overload that the mainstream media was performing "counter attacks" to Truths that were being uncovered, my spirit just wouldn't settle down. We ALL know how words effects us because we've all been positively and negatively effected! However, what seems to be the hardest to overcome are the "lies" of the stinging of those words that are obviously slung at us by the snake himself, Satan, our adversary. I've spoken about Pizzagate and the pedophilia entanglements that the Wikileaks email leaks brought to light out of the darkness. I've also spoken briefly about how fervently the "mainstream media" who is obviously extreme liberals, jumped on their own bandwagon to "debunk" all the truth, all the hard work of the investigative journalism and the public who wouldn't, and won't, let it die! The media came back with "Fake News" and suddenly, people are believing that "lie" so therein, the power of words! I'm not going to spend too much extra time on the scandal of the year, but I will continue to voice my sadness and pain over the alleged victims that have been truly effected by all of this evil. I will also point out that nobody has really came out to denounce or deny the actual allegations. All they've come out against is the hacking OF the emails and started pointing fingers at everyone else to divert the eyes away from their deeds. No apologies for the children. No apologies for the families. No apologies for the lives of the people they ruined through their lies. No apologies for any of the atrocities that were allegedly committed, not just the pizzagate and the pedophilia, but all the other crimes disclosed within those thousands of emails. God always has a way of revealing the Truth and uses who He chooses to assist in the discoveries. It's all in His time, for His purpose and alignment with His plans! So words, whether they are misdirected or out and out lies, killed a lot of spirits through this scandal!

Let's go back to God's gift of the spoken word being given to only mankind. You see, when someone becomes a Christian, there is a clear and present expectancy that a change in the way we speak will follow that decision because living for Christ and through Christ makes an impact and a big difference in the words that are chosen! As we know, a sinner's mouth is as told to us in Romans 3:14, "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness." but when we submit our lives over to Jesus Christ, we gladly confess with our mouths that "Jesus is Lord." You see before we were saved, we lived in a spiritual death as told to us in Ephesians 2:1-3, "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2) in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3) among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others." In Romans 3:13, Paul describes those who are dead in sin: "Their throat is an open tomb; With their tongues they have practiced deceit"; "The poison of asps is under their lips";" I can't stress how important those words actually are! Paul was exact in his words and used some very powerful words to convey his message! On the flip side, our words can be filled with blessings when our hearts are filled with blessings. So if we fill our hearts with the love of Christ, only truth and purity can come out of our mouths. It is a struggle every single day to hold our tongues but it's a struggle that must be fought and battled so others can see, and "feel" the Love of Jesus through our transformation!

Choose Your Words Wisely!
Sometimes when we speak, we are not fully aware of the intense power of the words that come out of our mouths. Nor do we know just how they could cause dramatic, and traumatic, situations or feelings in someones lives and as well as our own. How many times have we spoken something into existence from our lips and tongue never knowing it even manifested? If you're honest, then plenty. Our words DO manifest and become real, they go out into the atmosphere to complete what we've spoken. That's why it's extremely important to carefully and wisely watch what rolls off of our tongues, especially out of anger, hurt or pain. Angry, painful and hurtful words can cause death to the spirit, but kind, loving and uplifting words puts life into the spirit. As with every single action we take or about to take, the Holy Spirit gives us a split second "talking to" to direct us in the RIGHT decision. A warning to NOT do something is just as powerful as His prompting TO do something. Obedience in both ways are imperative. Well, the same holds true with our words we speak to others. If we're angry, hurt, jealous or in pain about something the "natural, fleshly" thing we WANT to do is to lash out verbally against our "perpetrators" that caused those emotions to surface. However, that ISN'T what Jesus would want from us. That's why the Holy Spirit sends out that little, small voice, and in some instances, a SCREAMING LOUD voice, to warn us to hold our tongue! To not speak "death" into an already traumatic situation. To not speak negatively but to hold back our wrath from our tongues, pray for those words to leave and to think clearly before speaking. If we find ourselves unable to clearly think before we speak, then it's just wise to step away and not say anything until maybe a later time. This is very hard to do, but it CAN be done!

How do I know? Because I've had a lot of practice in this area! I've lashed out before thinking and waiting for the Lord to give me KIND words and saw what damage it eventually ended up doing down the road, not to mention it wasn't the best testimony of how turning over my life to Jesus Christ changed me or my heart. On the other hand, as I continually kept getting practice on holding my tongue and learning the hard way not lashing out through the flesh, I've been angry, hurt, and in pain and my perception of the situation changed right before my eyes. I didn't take it personally. I didn't feel the "need" to lash out and verbally assault them the way that they just verbally assaulted me. I remember clearly, that first time that I obeyed the Holy Spirit and thought clearly before I spoke how DIFFERENT the words actually were that came to me and out of me! It was amazing. It was freeing. But more than that, it was healing! Both to my spirit and to the one that I spoke kindly back to. It was then, at that moment, that I began to live what I read and heard in my spirit all of those years! I understood it in a much different way. It took a long time to get a real grip on this new me, but I've learned that lesson! Do I sometimes slip up? Sure! I also repent and try harder the next time around. We're still human living in a fallen world so we will slip up. But there's a difference between slipping up every now and then and outright disobeying the Lord and continuing on a destructive path with your words! All that means is one isn't willing to submit and surrender and chooses to remain in their old ways. But God can change every single thing about you if you allow Him to do so! Some things take longer than others, no doubt about that! Only God knows why that is too and those things we struggle with over and over are the very things He uses to draw us nearer to Him and to witness to others!

Let's take a little short trip back to the beginning. When God created the heavens and the earth He LITERALLY spoke it into existence! A concept that we humans can't wrap our minds around! That's TRUE power in the tongue! When He said "let there be light," there was light. He SPOKE it into existence! His word says we will do greater works which is another spoken word over us that will manifest in our lives because we are His children. Since the Lord said we WILL do greater works, and the Word says the POWER is our tongue, then we should be able to speak to that bad situation in our lives and let it be moved. We don't need to speak of the problem, but rather speak about  the solution through the Word. Too often, people concentrate on the problem, rehashing it over and over instead of focusing on the solution! That creates a vicious cycle and then when that bad situation doesn't go away or get any better, it's made worse because it becomes an obsession, for lack of a better word! The enemy is behind all of the negativity that we speak, every bad thought we allow to be spoken from our tongues. Whether it's to ourselves or towards others, the enemy wants to seek and destroy those whom he can devour! What better way than to force someone to focus on themselves, their situations or circumstances than to focus and turn to Jesus Christ! The enemy loves to plant those negative thoughts in our heads and will use anyone he can find to assist him in accomplishing it! The enemy gets us to continue speaking negative words to get us entangled in what I call mind battles! Mind battles are truly hideous battles, those unseen battles that can destroy the mind just as quickly as cancer can destroy the body! Why is that? First and foremost, he wants us to feel defeated and ignore the Word of our Father! See, he has been defeated already and since he rebelled and was thrown out of heaven, he too ignored our Father! To him, ignorance really IS bliss. The enemy doesn't want us to renew our minds like the Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 12:3, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." The enemy definitely doesn't want us to know the power WE have through the Lord Jesus Christ to speak to situations! The Bible says that God's people perish from lack of knowledge! As you can see, knowledge is POWER much in the same way that WORDS are POWER!

Words can comfort a grieving heart, or it can be the cause of that grief. Words can make you laugh, or they can make you cry. They can cause much happiness or cause much sorrow. They can break someone down or they can build them up. They can make someone sick or they can heal someone. Let's just take a few minutes and see what some of the Scriptures say about the tongue:
1) Proverbs 12:18, "There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health."
2) Matthew 15:18, "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man."
3) Proverbs 16:24, "Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones."
4) Matthew 12:37, "For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."
5) Proverbs 21:23, "Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles."
6) Colossians 3:8, "But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth."
7) Psalm 19:14, "Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer."
8) James 1:26, "If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless."
9) Proverbs 15:4, "A wholesome tongue is a tree of life, But perverseness in it breaks the spirit."
10) Luke 6:45, "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart[a] brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."

This is definitely not all-inclusive but you can see just how important the emphasis is on the power of the tongue and our responsibility to control it! There are many passages that speak about the tongue and the power of words. The tongue can speak the truth or it can tell lies as in Proverbs 12:19 states, "The truthful lip shall be established forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment." We should all aspire to speak the truth so the words endure forever! There is a lasting effect of truthful words and as it stated above, "a lying tongue is but for a moment." If we really stop and think about the power of our tongue, it's quite overwhelming and disheartening to think what kind of drama, trauma or negativity we caused in our own lives, and the lives of others! Many people don't think about the words they speak about themselves causing trouble to manifest, but it does! It's not just a warning for us to guard our tongues towards others, but to ourselves as well. We cause some of our own collateral damage by convincing ourselves we aren't worthy, we aren't smart enough, we are good enough, we aren't pretty enough, we aren't skinny enough, we aren't rich enough, we aren't successful enough and so on. That's a tool of the enemy and he loves to use it whenever and wherever he can find a willing, yet weakened, participant! The enemy will use our own words AGAINST us! So YES! Words do have power! In the natural, physical world they can hurt or heal one's feelings, heart, hurts and attitudes. However, in the spiritual world, they are simply containers of power that, when opened and loosed, can literally change your life, direct your future, and allow you to get your life aligned with God's Will! Not only that, but words carry God's Power to literally heal your body, bring Light into the darkness, bring financial blessing to your circumstances, provide for your needs, heal your mind, mend brokenness, bring joy into your heart and bring the promises of God's Word directly into this natural realm to bless you and your family! I mean, in reality, WORDS created the Universe through God speaking TO it! THAT'S POWER!

Words Destroy or Bring Life
Sometimes despite the way things appear to look, you really have to basically learn how to see situations like the way you want them to be. Let's say your business isn't picking up the way you expected it to and it hasn't had much profit? You have two choices. You can choose to say something like "Well, maybe I should just quit while I’m ahead because I'm obviously failing at running the business successfully" OR you can choose to say something like, "Well, Lord, I know my season is just around the corner. Failure is not an option. With YOU, ALL things are possible and I know you WILL provide." Maybe you had yet another bad breakup with the wrong person? Again, you have two choices. You can either choose to say something along the lines of "Oh! I’ll never find the right person because every relationship has failed!" OR, you choose to say something like, "Lord, I know you are sending me the ONE for ME and preparing for our meeting. I'll wait on 'Mr. Right' because I know you are in control." And, instead of telling yourself all the time, "I just don’t know how I’m going to make it."; remind yourself, "I know God will provide. I trust ONLY in Him and I have Faith He has went before me!" These are simple "thought pattern changers" and no, it isn't easy to reprogram your minds overnight BUT it CAN be done!!! Once you have learned to replace the negative with the positive, it becomes a "habit" and second nature to do so! Also remember that words are seeds, so be careful and be wise with what you are planting!!! Being realistic is one thing, but being pessimistic is a whole other ballgame.

What's our part that we play in giving power to the words we speak or that are spoken TO us? What are words, really? They're air passing through vocal chords. They're also just a collection of vibrating sounds that we have oddly, yet collectively, decided have meaning and we bestow certain words with tremendous power. They only have the power that we have unknowingly decided they should possess. Strange, isn't it? What has power to me may not have power in someone else's life and vise-versa. Then there are specific words that have power over EVERY SINGLE LIVING PERSON! How is that actually decided? Is it something we are all inherently born with inside of us, from generations of sin? Who decided we all would feel pain if they were spoken to us or if we spoke them to someone else? Words do have power, but only as much power as we choose to give them. For all of us broken souls out there, sometimes the words that sting us the most are the words that show us where we are wounded and what we haven't turned over to the Lord! Have you ever been skipping along through life, or work, or day-to-day chores, happily going through the motions, thinking everything is just fine and dandy, when all of the sudden, out of nowhere, someone says something to you and you are hurt, angry or just plain devastated? You are taken aback and by surprise and have no idea why you felt that way or reacted that way? Yes! We all have been there! But the reason that happens is an unhealed wound! Somewhere along the lines of life, we have buried something rather than allowing the Lord to heal it for us so at the right moment, unexpectedly, we are thrown head first into a tailspin of emotions and it forces us to look deep inside of ourselves to find that open wound, acknowledge it and surrender it! The power of words in these circumstances are used for the good!

Mark 11:23-24, "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24) Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."

This is one of the most fascinating verses in all of Scripture. First, Jesus is telling us that we could "talk" to the mountains in our lives and they would move. In the Bible, human obstacles and hurdles are sometimes referred to as "mountains."  One example of this is found in Zechariah 4:7, "'Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of  "Grace, grace to it!"" Jesus was referring to the human hurdles and obstacles that we face daily, when He referred to "this mountain." Jesus is also clearly telling us, and it can also be interpreted as instructing us, that we can speak to the human obstacles of sickness, family problems, finances, etc., and they will yield to us. There is tremendous power released when we speak God’s solution TO our problems but the key phrase is "GOD'S SOLUTION." So then when we look at Mark 11:23 a little more closely and we can see something else.  Jesus made reference to "saying" something to our problems three different times there. Yes, I had to read it a few times to receive that which I saw! Read it again and you too will find the words "SAY to this mountain," "… believe that those things which he SAYS" and "shall have whatsoever he SAYS." Do you see it too? Pretty awesome!!! Three times in this ONE verse Jesus made clear references to Believers having what they SAY, what they SPEAK. But, it comes with a condition. Notice something else Jesus said in this very same verse. He said, "…shall not doubt in his heart, but shall BELIEVE." Three times Jesus stressed the importance of SAYING something but only ONCE did He actually mention the importance of believing something. To me, this means Jesus is obviously telling us that we have do three times more saying than believing if we want to see our obstacles removed. This is a Spiritual Law that Jesus always applied in His own life. Law of Faith. Believing. Here He tells us that we must APPLY it to our lives as well as SAYING it.

Most Believers have the "believing" part down pat and solidified, but they need lots of work on the "saying" part. How many of you can relate to that part? If you read closely, you will find that Jesus didn't say that we'd get what we believe.  Jesus said we would get what we SAY. Too many believers keep saying over and over what they have for problems, bad situations or issues so things just keep getting worse for them! They are speaking, saying, them into existence and creating more problems for themselves. They’re actually applying this Law of Faith in reverse. It's when we stop speaking the problem and instead we start speaking the SOLUTION, God's solution, that mountains start moving. That's not what I say. That’s what Jesus said! Things CAN, and WILL, happen all because we change the way we both SPEAK and BELIEVE! When we constantly talk, talk, talk about failures and inabilities, then that's why we receive, receive, receive failures and inabilities. When we drop to the level of our faithless words, we receive on the same level of faithlessness. When we speak Scripture, success and ability, we skyrocket up to the level of our faith-filled words as we're instructed to do! Remember, we are all by-products today of all the words which were spoken over us yesterday as children or by ourselves as adults. A sobering thought!

We simply have to say what the Bible says, in spite of our circumstances. Our circumstances doesn't define us or who we are but when we SAY what the Bible SAYS in spite of those circumstances, that's when our circumstances will come in line with what God desires for us. Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." People who speak words of death eat the fruit of death. People who speak words of life eat the fruit of life. It's as simple as that. Our words have power, so we must be mindful of what we allow to come out of our mouths because those very same words could and will eventually become our behaviors and actions. We also need to strive to be cognizant of our REACTIONS to others who sting our souls to the core. It never fails to amaze me just how impactful a simple, single word choice can be in a person’s life. We use words all day long, every day, in a multitude of ways to communicate to others, and to "talk" to ourselves. We write emails, talk on the phone to family and friends, we write letters, or we simply think about things that are happening in our lives. We can't really keep track of just how powerful all those words we use really are, especially the ones we think and say to ourselves! Oh but those have power! Real power! Our inner dialogue that we have with ourselves is just as important, if not the most important, dialogue that we have! If OUR inner dialogue is positive and uplifting and powerful then from those words we are able to communicate the same positive, uplifting and powerful words to someone else in need of encouragement. It's easier to build someone up when you, yourself, believe and apply the same powerful words in your own life! Seeds definitely have POWER; therefore Words have POWER. Seeds. What are they really? Well, they're small beginnings to some pretty big and wonderful and amazing things. Seeds obviously start very small and really don’t look like much at all.  But, with water and fertilization, they grow into big and amazing things. So do our words because they ARE seeds that we are planting in our lives and the lives of others! That’s why God’s Word tells us not to despise small beginnings. Zechariah 4:10, "For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. They are the eyes of the Lord, Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth."

Plant Good Seeds!
Jesus said that words are seeds and can produce much fruit, 30-100 fold, depending on the kind of soil where they are planted and from the care that they're given. Seeds always produce after their own kind so if it’s an apple seed you’ll definitely get a tree that produces apples, not some other kind of fruit. In comparison then, words also bring increase. If you speak words of unforgiveness, anger, jealousy, hate, fear, doubt, or pride, they, too, will all produce a harvest. But the harvest those words will produce will be of the worst kind that will have absolutely no benefit whatsoever. However, if you speak words of faith, hope, truth and love you will produce an abundance of fruit that is extremely beneficial! So we really shouldn’t be surprised when we see a tree (person) bearing bad fruit when they’ve been speaking (planting) bad seeds (words). Luke 6:43-45, "For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." There as sadly an abundance of the bad-seed planters out there planting all kinds of bad seeds and those bad seeds are producing bad fruits. They are planting them in themselves and in others, producing trees bearing bad fruits all over the place!

You see, it's only the seeds that have been put into the ground that can grow and prosper. And only if they’re put into good, thriving, nourishing soil and cared for will the seeds then be able to produce 30-100 fold fruit. Seeds that are obviously lacking soil get snatched up by birds, and seeds where thorns grow get choked out, become unproductive and die or wither away. A seed MUST be able to take root into the ground and in fertile soil. Anytime a seed isn't able to take root, it can't grow, thrive and bear fruit. We are all farmers sowing seeds, no matter how you look at it. If we are speaking to someone, then seeds are being planted whether we like it or not. So once again, we need to be mindful and wise with the words that we choose to speak to others and over ourselves! Our heart is the garden where the seeds take up roots and grow. Words are being sown everyday from our mouths and we will ultimately produce a harvest of what we’ve sown. No exceptions. We may never see ALL of the fruits of the harvest until we're on the other side of this world, but good or bad, we have harvested many, many seeds! Our words are literally steering our life to go in a direction of peace, joy, and love of the Holy Spirit, or they are steering us in a direction of fear, torment, and anxiety. Take a look at Galatians 6:7-10, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8) For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9) And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10) Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." Also let's look at Proverbs 12:14, "A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, And the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him." And lastly, look at James 3:1-5, "My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. 2) For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3) Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4) Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5) Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles!"

We are a generation of people who wants quick and instant results and immediate satisfaction. Seeds take time to grow. To take root. They also need to be cared for like watering, sunshine, and weeding. Weeds strangle out the roots and kill the harvest. Once we plant seeds of our words, we must take care to tend to the weeds before they overgrow and damage what is meant for good. If we don't "pluck" our tiniest of weeds (words) in its infancy, it will take over, strangle and kill the most beautiful of fruits. If those "weeds" (bad seeds) take root and left to grow on their own, they become harder and harder to pull until one day, you find yourself having to shovel up the roots along with the seed and start all over. If you’ve been speaking words of doubt, planting seeds of doubt, the Bible says your heart, (which is the ground for the seed to grown in), has become hardened. We all know that seeds can't grow on hard ground. So in Mark 4:18 it says that worry chokes out the seed. Many of us worry unnecessarily, don't we? In Matthew 6:31, God asks why we worry and talk about our worry. Worry chokes out the seed.....the seed can't take root.....without the root, there is no growth (blessing in the harvest!) You see, how we speak, what we say, and choose to say, is extremely critical to the condition of our heart and to the fruit we bear in our life. God tells us above all else that we are to guard our heart, for everything we do flows from it! If we are careless with our hearts and leave it exposed to all kinds of "seeds" then we will harvest those seeds and become them. He then tells us how we are to guard our hearts; by keeping our mouth free of perversity (a deceitful mouth), and keeping all corrupted talk far from flowing from our lips. I know this is difficult to do sometimes but it's something we really need to strive to do daily!

Once you let out a word, it's impossible to take it back so it's so important to speak words of kindness, love, gentleness, truth, encouragement and fullness. It takes just seconds to say, and oftentimes even less time to think about, but many of the words that have been released will be tested by the fullness of time. Words have a tremendous impact on all of us. Whatever words we choose to utter should be carefully chosen with the utmost care because people will hear them and be influenced by them for good or evil.

Remember, to be human is to be vulnerable, to be feeling individuals, and it comes with all its feelings and emotions and times of weariness due to our struggles in this life. Our mountains may sometime appear larger than life but only because we focus on them, thereby making them appear larger than they really are. It's that stubborn fear and worry all over again. Satan tends to constantly play the negative tapes of our lives, and he plays on these areas of our weakness, trying to accuse us day in and night out to get us to believe the lies. He is relentless in his evil plots to destroy lives. God goes to extreme measures to make Himself known to us, to all of us. God doesn't want any of us to perish and sent His Son Jesus Christ as our Truth! Satan, on the other hand, goes to great lengths to deceive all mankind. Satan comes at a young age to cripple you with fears, worries, anxieties, so you never step into your full destiny with God. His whole agenda is to keep you away from our Creator God and His Son Jesus Christ! Satan wants your thinking all messed up so you will possess wrong perceptions and rejection issues. He wants you to have a root of bitterness in your heart so that every little thing sends you off the charts, firing off at the mouth, and spewing things you later regret. All the while knowing seeds will be planted and he will fiercely run after those weeds before they're plucked so he can strangle all the Hope in Jesus Christ!

In closing, I just want to say once again, our Words have GREAT power! They play a part in our everyday life and we must be mindful of the words we choose to speak over ourselves and others because what you plant NOW, will be the fruits of tomorrow! Plant the best seeds you have inside of you and hold your tongue even when you feel like it's an impossibility! God will guard it for you and will either keep you quiet or give you words to speak in place of the bad seeds you nearly planted! Today, choose to step into a much greater destiny by allowing God to heal your heart and to rule and reign where you have not allowed Him to be LORD. It may be your mouth, your emotions, or maybe even your character. God wants you to be the same person from home, in the car, at the office, in church or at the store.

So when you hear the words of others, you can either choose to receive them as truth or to reject them as lies. And in the same manner you hear the words of others, every time you open your own mouth to utter a word to someone else, you have the opportunity to speak life or the temptation to take it. Let us seriously think before we speak and let us guard our hearts before we receive!

Heavenly Father, I come to you in thanksgiving for all that you've blessed us with in this life. I pray for the healing of the open wounds that are still raw and for those without Hope to seek your Face. Father God, I ask that you teach us Father, to hold our tongues and to be mindful of the words we speak to one another so we can build each other up and not tear one another down. Lord, we all come to you in our rawest forms, because we know Your ways are best. Please heal us of our wounds and teach us to speak with Love, with Your Love! Let us spread Your Word in this fallen world and come together in your name! Touch each heart that you have brought to this article because we know nothing is accidental or coincidental with You, Father God. Touch their lives, comfort their pain and show them Love. In all this we ask in Jesus' name, AMEN and AMEN!
